St. Martin's The Musical!

On Thursday our school performed in our production called “St. Martin’s The Musical”.  Every year level had a special musical that their act was based on. The storyline was based around children applying for a special role in the musical.

We had the Mary Poppins Musical.  We dressed up as Chimney sweeps and did a dance with our chimney sweeps.  It was such an exciting time leading up to the performance night!  All our parents, relatives and teachers were so proud of us.   Have a look at what we got up to.

  1. Hi Louise,

Many thanks for taking time to visit our blog. The concert was definitely a hit. There is no doubt that the chimney sweeps in 2T did such a magnificent job!

It’s great to get some feedback from parents.

  3. Wow !!!!! 2T you are so lucky to have a movie of your dress rehearsal at school. Mrs tieppo is very clever putting the music to match the photos. Now you can enjoy watching yourselves over and over again. You looked wonderful on the night! I hope you are proud of yourselves. Wasn’t it wonderful to have so many people in the audience? It was a super fantastic night.

  4. Hi Miss Yeomans,

Thank you for your lovely comments. It would be really good to go to the Her Majesty’s theatre and to perform in the Mary Poppin’s musical.

2t wishes they could do the performance again and again!

From all of us in 2T 🙂

  5. Hi 2T and Ms Tieppo

The Grade Twos were simply sensational as chimney sweeps!!

You had so many things to remember in your dance as well as using your chimney sweeps and you did it perfectly! Your singing was spot on too! I’m sure your families were bursting with pride as they watched your performance. Congratulations and take a bow!

I wonder if you might get a phone call from Her Majesty’s Theatre to invite the Grade Twos to go and perform there in the Mary Poppins musical!!

    Miss Y 🙂
