Manners!

Today we read a story called “I Won’t Say Please” by Mij Kelly and Ruth Palmer.

In this story a Queen Bee never says the word “Please”.  Nobody will do what she tells them to do unless she says “please” .   This makes her very sad and miserable.  The story ends when the Queen Bee finally says please when someone saves her.

We talked about the importance of manners and we learned a lot from each other.  Many children have special manners at their dinner table and many have been told by adults to respect both adults and children.  We made a special book of manners.

What do you think of our book?  What special manners do you remember?

  1. Dear Miss tieppo and 2tm
Congratulations 2tm for a great start to the year
2tm. I bet you will have the best year especially when you have the best teacher ever. At my new school all of my new friends use manners to me and to everybody they can possibly think of. Have a great year. From Grace the girl who left school
